POZNAŃ, BERLIN, LONDON, VIENNA, LVIV, IVANO-FRANKIVSK, SHOSTKA, AND MAYBE MORE, OR MAYBE LESS…
We invite you to participate in a hybrid project that commemorates (and reminds the world, which in its persistent
existence tends to forget) the ongoing tragedy. On Feb. 24, 2022, russia invaded Ukraine, starting a full-scale war. But we
want to talk about the present and the future, decolonization, reconstruction, cross-border and transdisciplinary
collaborations, decentralization, hybridity, horizontal flows of power and ideas… For many of us, spending this time
together is a good and constructive experience that gives hope for moving beyond difficult memories, for others it is an
opportunity for acts of solidarity, support, and testimony that we remember and stay together. For all of us, let it be a
booster for life, a creative and magic event linking contradictions and the fragmented world.
The Stream Art Network originates from the activities of UKRAiNATV, a media phenomenon based at StreamArtStudio
in Krakow, which is also celebrating its third anniversary at that time. In the shadow of war, in the fire of war, amid growing
crises, ideas and new collaborative practices emerge. So, we invite you to join our 24-hour live streaming x hybrid
multi-event across platforms and SAN channels (details and links TBA), and the local venues.
How to participate?
1. Submit Audiovisual Materials: We invite you to submit audiovisual materials (along with description, full credits
recognizing authorship, and a declaration confirming ownership and granting us a one-time license and all necessary
permissions for publication). We will present it that day in the event’s schedule on multi-platform streaming.
2. Organize Your Own Hybrid Event: We invite you to realize your own autonomous hybrid actions, in which we can
participate remotely, e.g., a hybrid / telematic performance on our or your Jitsi, Zoom, VideoNinja channels or an
autonomous live-stream event, a virtual / hybrid/AR/XR project, or any other activity inspired by hybrid production
and co-presence tools (we will help to setup detalis, don’t worry).
3. Join a Local Intervention: We invite you to a totally local intervention, presence, action in one of the places where
something is planned that day – a visual, audio, performative, literary, journalistic proposal (fill free to ask on details, map,
contacts, sugestions – we connect ppl, datas, signals, machines and you).
Funding and Support: Selected five projects will receive funding from a collectively distributed budget of 1000 EUR.
Others will be provided with organizational, technical, and promotional support, as well as documented participation in the
